GPL Cooperation Commitment. OIN’s eight funding members – Google, IBM, Red Hat, SUSE, Sony, NEC, Philips, and Toyota – have committed to rejecting abusive tactics in the enforcement of open source licenses by adopting the GPL Cooperation Commitment. Organizations and individuals can do likewise here.
OpenChain Project. The OpenChain Project builds trust in open source by making open source license compliance simpler and more consistent. OpenChain defines a core set of requirements for a quality compliance program. Organizations can check conformance with the OpenChain requirements here.
